1. Services
True North Bookkeeping provides bookkeeping and related financial support services. All services are customized based on each client’s needs and will be outlined in a separate agreement or proposal.
2. No Financial or Tax Advice
While we provide bookkeeping and general financial insights, True North Bookkeeping is not a licensed CPA firm and does not provide tax, legal, or financial advisory services. Clients are encouraged to consult with a licensed CPA, tax professional, or attorney for advice specific to their situation.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
Provide accurate and complete financial information
Respond to requests for information in a timely manner
Maintain access to necessary accounts and software (such as QuickBooks)
Review financial reports and notify us of any discrepancies
True North Bookkeeping is not responsible for errors resulting from incomplete, inaccurate, or delayed information provided by the client.
4. Payment Terms
Fees for services will be outlined in a separate proposal or agreement. Payments are due according to the terms specified in that agreement. Failure to make timely payments may result in suspension or termination of services.
5. Confidentiality
We take your privacy seriously. All client financial information will be kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law or as necessary to provide services.
6. Limitation of Liability
True North Bookkeeping is not liable for:
Decisions made by the client based on financial reports or insights
Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Errors resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client
Our total liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for services provided.
7. Third-Party Services
We may recommend or work alongside third-party professionals such as CPAs or payroll providers. We are not responsible for the services or actions of any third-party providers.
8. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate services in accordance with the terms outlined in the client agreement.
Upon termination:
All outstanding invoices become due
Access to services may be discontinued
Client data will be returned or transferred as agreed
9. Website Use
All content on this website is for informational purposes only.
You agree not to:
Use this website for unlawful purposes
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
Copy or distribute content without permission
10. Changes to Terms
